In line with Free RPG Day a few years back in 2019, The Witcher Easy Mode provides a free introduction to the game, providing you with enough background knowledge to endure to survive, before jumping straight into the brutality.

Adding streamlined rules, pre-generated characters, an introduction to magic, and an adventure that truly places an origin of character within the world. The guide will include context on Witchers, monsters, and the brutality of the Nifgaardian Wars, placing a host of five different characters to choose from with a race and profession provided for each.

Pregen characters include Luskar of Hagge - A Witcher, Aislinn Veil - a Human Sourceress, Orban Madaras - a Dwarven Criminal, Ada of Ban Ard - a human Man at Arms, Andras the Red an Elf Bard and Kaska Torma, a Dwarf Doctor. With encouragement to use the Lifepath System introduction if you would enjoy adding a further personal background to each character to tailor them to your own creativity.

The Witcher RPG Core Book // R. Talsorian Games

The starter adventure sees players into one of the cities in the Northern Kingdoms. The mighty walls of Visima have been tested, forcing players and NPCs to flee in safety. Hoping to get across the river, they will be outrunning a fierce group of Scoia’tael Squirrels on their tails. Stopping their escape and being released into the wide world of the Witcher.

Once the adventure is done and dusted, players will notice that there may be some extra rules that they have integrated into their journey. Considering that there is a quick start guide within this pack - R Talsorian Games has provided enough for DM to develop and continue on in their adventure if they so choose! Or, to then pick up the Core Book and other supplements belonging to the title.
