April 16, 2024 by brennon
This Quar's War is great fun and we had a lot of fun with it recently. So, it was great to see the ZombieSmith and Wargames Atlantic plastic sets now made available separately for the Crusaders and the Coftyrans! You can now expand your forces to include more quirky soldiers.
Crusader Infantry // Wargames Atlantic
The Crusader Infantry are first out of the blocks with a set of twenty-four plastic miniatures. The set allows you to build your infantry including Yawdryls and Milwers. You get to choose between the Bogen combat rifle which is great for regular use in battle and the more long-range and powerful Ryshi.
Crusader Infantry Sprue // Wargames Atlantic
The set has been designed to be quite modular with lots of ways for you to assemble your miniatures and pose them. You get the aforementioned weapon options as well as a variety of different heads and extra bits.

We had great fun with the game and it's awesome that it's more accessible now thanks to the plastic miniatures from Wargames Atlantic.
You can also get your hands on a set of twenty-four Coftyrans who are going to be trying to stick it to the Crusaders on the tabletop.
Coftyran Infantry // Wargames Atlantic
Looking to preserve traditional Quar society, the Coftyran Crymuster are looking to try and hold the line against the Crusader juggernaut. This focus on tradition carries through into their kit and accessories giving them a very utilitarian look and feel.

The set comes with enough options for you to make a bunch of infantry using the Harlech long rifle. You will also be able to choose from the Cryfen LMG and the Doru SMG as well if you like. This gives you a good selection of weapons for holding out against the Crusaders!
