Puppets War Ship Out Resin Foam Shipping Containers
March 23, 2017 by dracs
Puppets War have released a new piece of terrain, a large scifi shipping container, made from resin foam.
These large shipping containers can be scattered around the feeling for useful bits of hard cover, and give the setting a more industrial feel.
This is Puppets War's first time making models using resin foam, which reportedly makes the pieces more durable and light.
What are your thoughts on these latest terrain pieces?

Resin foam…isn’t that just expanding foam but you mix it and pour rather than spray from a can?
If so, its good stuff I had some foam terrain and it held detail well and I could have chucked it off a building and I don’t think it would have taken any damage.
The containers look very cool.
Yeah, I’m assuming they mean polyurethane foam. They look nice but hopefully they’re better than Micro Art’s foam offerings. Picked up a few of those and they’re pretty bad.
I’m not sure how recently you got your things from MAS but I got containers, crates and vans in the kickstarter and they’re lovely casts. Maybe I was lucky or maybe they’ve changed how they make them, but certainly worth another look
shiny
canny beat more crates.
