Punga Work On More Furry Renders & Tease New Board Game
January 30, 2019 by brennon
Punga Miniatures has been working on a few more renders for their Canitaurs & Felitaurs Kickstarter they ran not too long ago. Check out some of the work here...
The first of these is the work going into this Water Monster from the campaign. You can see this scaled feline isn't at all worried about baths! I could imagine these being an awesome foe to throw at your dungeon delving adventurers, painted up in flowing blues and greens which match its watery environment.
Alongside that, we got another potential foe for you with the Feral Undead Canitaur.
This skeletal pup clearly wasn't given enough chow and has slowly withered away, only to be reanimated by some doggy necromancer in need of an army. I do like that whilst we got lots of character miniatures as part of the Kickstarter we also ended up getting some creatures for them to fight too.
Lastly, we have The Goodest Boy in all his glory, a proper Godlike figure for the Canitaurs to fight for on the tabletop.
The work on the wings here is particularly great and I hope that they managed to transfer over that texture to the feather when it comes to the final piece. I could see this being one hell of a diorama piece, leaping from the gates of Pet Heaven to deliver justice to those who mistreat animals!
Canitaurs & Felitaurs Board Game?
Additionally, the team at Punga Miniatures also talked about a new board game project on the horizon. Created as a two-to-four player game, it will be an additional separate Kickstarter which uses this range.
It will be a cooperative adventure and dungeon delving experience which will give you a reason to get these painted up for your friends!
What do you think of the idea?

Those look great.
Isn’t the undead one more of a zombie than a skeleton? Too much meat still on it’s bones to be a skellie. 😉
great figures.
Wow. I remember the Kickstarter but didn’t see the water monster. I’d have jumped in if I had.
Ah well, it’s not like I’m short of stuff to paint.
