Pulposaurus & Reaper Team Up For Conan: Rise Of Monsters
August 12, 2015 by brennon
If you haven't heard by now the Conan: Rise Of Monsters Kickstarter has been cancelled and instead Pulposaurus are working in partnership with Reaper Miniatures on the project going forward.
We're assuming that this partnership might work with Reaper supplying them with Bones like plastic miniatures to help with the process and maybe lower the amount of Kickstarter funding they need when the project starts up again.
As you can see the pre-painted factory miniatures you can see above were looking neat, especially in pre-painted terms. Gameplay looked fairly simple and easy to learn too which was good and might make for a good entrance level wargame.
Let's hope this partnership allows them to come back stronger than ever. With Reaper's past in Kickstarter having gone very well indeed they are invaluable allies.
What do you think?

It seems to me that they are going to have to abandon the prepainted miniatures. I’m sure that was a substantial cost.
Really? ‘Cause Reaper does prepaints…
I wonder if there is a market big enough for skirmish battle in the world of Conan? It seems that there is a market for board games using Conan IP, but skirmish… not sure.
look forward to see what will come out of this partnership.
Maybe the problem isn’t skirmish games, maybe it’s prepainted minis. Personally it’s the reason I gave it a pass.
Or maybe it’s that we’ve had a very recent Conan Kickstarter. I went big on it because I wasn’t expecting another Conan Kickstarter, specially so soon.
