Puffin Pirates & Furry Faces For Burrows & Badgers
August 3, 2020 by brennon
The Burrows & Badgers world from Oathsworn Miniatures is greeting a few new residents after a few more previews popped up on their Facebook Group for the game. This fellow, a Puffin Pirate, was a fan suggestion that became a reality!

Weirdly enough I was watching a TV show about the British coastline this weekend and Puffins popped up in great numbers. These little fellows are adorable and I reckon this chap would be a lot of fun to paint. The body of a Puffin is fairly easy to paint but it's around the beak that you'll find you'll need a steady hand. Thankfully it looks as if Michael has sculpted some lines onto it to help guide the process.
Furry Faces
As well as the Puffin Pirate, we also got a peek at four new heads that mark the start of plenty of new models for the range.

I want to say that this is a new Frog, Hedgehog, Fox and Rabbit/Hare that are entering the arena of Burrows & Badgers. I think it would be a bit of fun to see what you think these characters are going to turn into as the sculpting process unfolds. Drop your thoughts below.
All being well, it seems like this is going to mark the next Kickstarter for Burrows & Badgers in October. However, with the world situation, we could be seeing that date shift.
What do you think of these new Burrows & Badgers teasers?

Fox bandit/highwayanimal I’d guess. Rabbit could be a town guard, perhaps. Hedgehog bard… looks like he is singing! Frog could be anything… let’s guess, assassin to be different.
Lol love the parrot.
Its a puffin matey 😉
Lol him too then.? Ben
Ooh I do love a puffin.
I NEED A PIRATE PUFFIN!
Wouldnt a fit one be better?
“Give me all your lupins!”
Those look really promising.
I love that Puffin! I don’t think we’ve seen a bird so heavily armed yet, definitely picking this little dude up!!
