Side With The Protectors In The Next Barons’ War Kickstarter!
January 15, 2021 by brennon
If you've already become enamoured by the Warhost team's adventures into Medieval England with The Barons' War then I'm sure you're already aware that a new Kickstarter campaign is around the corner. Previews have been dropping for it already including these valiant Protectors from the woods...
The Protectors // Footsore Miniatures & Games
These sets of archers work as outlaws and "merry mercenaries" for you to use during your games of The Barons' War and beyond. Those who backed the previous campaign will have been able to pledge for a set of well-known ruffians and robbers of the rich but this allows you to expand on that with some loyal followers. The local villagers will often need protecting from the grasp of the villainous sheriff and that's where these fellows come in.
Talking of villagers, we also got this fantastic painted example of some of the upcoming miniatures from the campaign by HVM Workbench.
Medieval Civilians // Footsore Miniatures & Games
HVM do stunning work and they always take wonderful pictures of their miniatures on immersive backdrops as you can see. So, as well as getting your hands on some ruffians we also have the folk they are trying to protect too. It all seems like it's going to come together as another brilliant and well-backed campaign.
As always, Footsore Miniatures & Games are going to be handling the distribution of the miniatures and there are plenty of them already available on their webstore if you take a peek HERE.
This period of history is fascinating and The Barons' War collection gives you an excuse (as if you needed one) to dive in and play through an age of turmoil, strife, valiant heroes and insidious villains.
