Protect The Land With The Natives In Black Scorpion’s Tombstone
March 23, 2017 by brennon
Black Scorpion continue their previews for Tombstone with a look at the Natives faction which will be gracing the game when it hits Kickstarter soon in April. The faction breaks down in a similar fashion to the Outlaws we saw yesterday starting with the Leader.
Here we can see the Leader without his horse, axe raised high and gun in hand. I think this could be the faction of the painter as it will give you so many opportunities to try out interesting schemes.
Transferring him onto horseback you get the same Leader model. I really like that the mounted and dismounted Leader models are the same characters...it could have been rather annoying otherwise!
This Leader is then joined by his Deputy...
This fellow looks like he'd be quite the hot-headed individual, ready to charge off into combat with reckless abandon. The wolf cloak he's wearing is going to be a lot of fun to paint and I'd even go as far as to try and get some tattoos and face paint onto his face too...if I had the skill!
Tribal Warriors
Joining this pair we also have the big selection of different Native warriors for you to choose from who once again come armed with all manner of different weapon options.
This warband is going to offer up some neat choices when it comes to ranged weapons as they also have bows at their disposal.
That doesn't mean they're going to be dropping those rifles they've picked up, though! I really like that we also get plenty of individual poses too (as we will be getting across the factions I bet) meaning that they all feel like individuals.
Could the Natives be for you?

Those are some very cool Comanches, and I love the mix of weapons- IMVHO Black Scorpion just make the best and most characterful Western minis out there; and these are no exception- I am determined to own and paint them all, one day!
Really looking forward to seeing the 7th Cavalry faction next- they’ve been a long time coming, but I know they’ll be worth the wait…
…I am going to spend so much money when this KS hits, it’s not even funny!..
I agree about the mix of weapons makes them look nice.
INDIAN’S.
Is it wrong that I’m looking at these as potential Shadowrun miniatures? Native American culture plays a huge part in the Shadowrun mythos
These are a bit nice
