He Protec But He Also Attac; Wargame Exclusive’s New Assassin!
March 9, 2020 by brennon
Hopefully, you'll have forgiven me for that rather meme-tastic title by the time you've seen the new miniature Wargame Exclusive has been working on. Here we have the Imperial Vindilorian Assassin which you can drop into your Sci-Fi games.
This fellow may or may not be based on a certain famous character from the extended Star Wars universe. Ah, who are we kidding? It's the Mandalorian in Warhammer 40,000 get-up! Regardless of what you might say about things "getting old" I think that it's a rather neat sculpt and I could see a lot of folks snapping this up for use in their grimdark games.
This fellow has been mixed with the design of the Vindicare Assassins too which you'll have no doubt seen from his body armour and accessories. I think of all of the Assassin types from Warhammer 40,000 they might be my favourite although I do quite like the Callidus Assassins too.
Anyway, if you're interested in snapping up this fellow then you can also get their Ork Snot In Pram who is a nice little nod towards a certain someone from their same series as this fellow.
What do you think?

Snot in a pram needs his protector…. but but but…..
Considering they already made a not-Yoda mini, it was only a matter of time before this came out. (Geez, how many Mandalorian minis is that now? Five?) He does make a nice Vindicare, though I’d swap out his helmet for something a bit more fitting for 40K…and that doesn’t obviously look like the Mandalorian.
This is a really cool miniature, all things considered. The mixture of aesthetics works nicely, and Wargame Exclusive make nice stuff.
I’m not quite sure what that strange hole in his left shoulder is, though.
I still think the Westfalia Miniatures one is the best of these Mando-inspired minis so far, though.
I had a vindolorian the other night. And a pebble-dashed bathroom the following day.
Looks good give him a head change an he would be good for a guard sniper.
I really like this model, I could see it dropped into something like Kill Team or some inquisition war bands.
Not quite sure that you guys should be promoting a company which is basically committing IP theft? Wargames Exclusive have clearly done this for GW IP and now for Disney. Whilst they are excellent sculpts they shouldn’t really be ripping off legit IP. Ethics question here for Ontabletop…
That left shoulder armor must be scavenged from one of his victims: the hole looks rather piercing, if you catch my drift.
Sending hope and love to the peeps at Wargame Exclusive, due to what’s happening in Ukraine.
