Prodos Games Gather A Shadowrun Chronicles Gang
February 21, 2016 by brennon
Prodos Games have joined forces with Cliffhanger Productions to present you with a selection of miniatures from the Shadowrun Chronicles video game as part of the Boston Lockdown...
Each of the miniatures are made of resin and come in at around the 28mm to 35mm scale. If you'd like to take a closer look at them then we have the characters below each with their proper titles.
These two above are two of my favourites. I really like the snarling appearance of the Ork Payday although the Troll Shaman is pretty epic all the same. The stances might be the only thing that puts me off these miniatures.
The Aztech Jaguar Guard and the Elf Decker might not be my cup of tea but I'm sure that they will work for someone. It's quite nice to see Prodos branching out to work on special sets like this and I hope they work on other project for different video games.
What do you think of this set?

This came about because the Shadowrun Chronicles Kickstarter originally offered some minis as part of their own KS pledge but, due to some setbacks during development, it started to look like they would be unable to fulfil that particular reward (I forget which update it was in, but I believe they mentioned the price they were quoted by another company and it was indeed kind of steep). So Prodos got in touch with them and they were able to sort something out that would allow the original Shadowrun backers to get the minis they pledged for. ..and before any of… Read more »
very nice – i do like the look of the shaman, and the aztech guard
Not really my cup of tea – I’ve never really got what Shadowrun was all about – but they look nice models. The ork is pretty characterful, and the elf is interesting too. Still elven but also modern. Not something I can remember seeing done before.
“Not something I can remember seeing done before.” And that’s what Shadowrun is. It’s essentially what you might call urban fantasy. Shadowrun is probably my favourite RPG setting right now and these miniatures look amazing. I’d love to see someone like Prodos do a Shadowrun miniatures game and, if they did so, the “sexy” look that they did with Space Crusade, that in my opinion didn’t really work, would work brilliantly for Shadowrun where there is a very theme of “style over substance”; you can totally get away with impractical looking miniatures. Then again, on the other hand it’s probably… Read more »
They’d be a lot better if they didn’t all have the same boring pose.

Have been totally put Prodos as am Still waiting for parts of my AVP Kickstarter and there seems to be no way to get in contact with them as it seems they have left uk an doing no uk shows so myself and other club members at our club very upset
[email protected] is the address they have mentioned on their Facebook page. Or you can actually PM the Prodos Facebook page. They do seem to be fairly active
@siygess, come on I get to complaint about Prodos as much as I want because they ( Prodos ) don’t even have the courtesy to answer any of my emails.
I could understand a company not sitting on their hands so they won’t go under but doing all the misgivings that Prodos are doing is uncalled for!!!
I feel sorry for the other companies that go into business with them.

To be fair, I doubt the companies that go into business with Prodos are out of pocket. It seems to me that the issue with Prodos isn’t that they aren’t delivering products it’s that they are selling products at retail at the expense of fulfilling some backers’ kickstarter pledges.
From what my FLGS says, it sounds like Prodos has poor service and are very bad at shipping items even to retailers. He received a large damaged order and they have yet to replace it…but it’s only been a year or so, lol.
