Privateer Launching SAVAGE R.E Howard MiniCrate Subscriptions
June 27, 2019 by brennon
Privateer Press is working alongside Cabinet Entertainment to work on a line of MiniCrate models based on the iconic characters from Robert E. Howard's work. The subscription will start delivering in September with Dark Agnes de Chastillon.
She is one of the characters from Howard's Sword Woman stories and would make a fantastic character to paint up for display. The SAVAGE line will continue with more iconic characters from Howard's work including Solomon Kane.
So, if you're looking to get your hands on this grim and dangerous hunter of darkness and shadow you'll have a chance to do over the coming months. Additional properties that will be covered by the MiniCrate subscription are Conan, Kull of Atlantis plus many more.
The special bonus miniature for six-month subscribers at this point is a version of King Conan, sitting on his throne as he contemplates his next move.
You might remember this iconic scene from the end of the Conan movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Again, a great display piece that could perhaps sit alongside the books that you have on your shelf.
As with all of the MiniCrate miniatures the twist is that these will only be available to subscribers for that month. Once they've been sent out to those who signed up, the miniature moulds are destroyed so they will never be seen again. This makes them very precious!
Will you be backing Privateer's SAVAGE MiniCrate subscription?

Damn, these are tempting

28/32mm heroic proportions – same as the rest of their Privateer range more or less.
Minicrate is very expensive if you’re outside of Trumpland.
Never heard of Agnes before… looks very musketeer…
They look fabulous especially the sitting King Conan.
I might be tempted to subscribe for this
Those are some great looking miniatures.
I have been trying to make up my mind about these since they were announced last week . I love Robert E Howard’s stuff and read a cheap book (it wasn’t much so book maybe drawing a long bow)) in the early 80’s from a second handbook store (10cents) called Swords of France, which I recall as featuring Dark Agnes and her sidekick, while on a winter beach holiday. It made am impression on young teenager me, and had me buying two other of Howard’s books (a Conan and an El Borak. Great times. Privateer’s subscriptions are wonderful but the… Read more »
