Creature Caster Preview The Writhing Glutton Demon
January 24, 2017 by brennon
Stomping his way into existence the folks at Creature Caster previewed their Glutton Demon, an upcoming monster for their rather excellent range.
This massive demon is stomping forwards, its body covered in slobbering mouths, hungry for food. It reminds me a lot of the designs that you might have seen in the Dante's Inferno video game and of course it has a few nods to Warhammer Fantasy in there too.
I like that they've actually posed the Demon as it would be on the battlefield, rather than simply sitting there contemplating its navel. Towering over your enemies you can imagine the scene as it raises that massive filthy mace, ready to crush all those before it.
The model will be available in the near future and the Creature Caster webstore itself has its grand opening on February 1st.
Do you like this mighty Demon?

I’m really looking forward to the CC line going to retail. I have some of the sculptor’s older Ultraforge monsters and they are great. I especially want to get the tree woman and spider demon for AoS armies.
With Creature caster it is 4 years that we wait our figurines of their kickstarter. Disastrous communication, lack of respect from customers (jeremy glenn who insulted his backer on his private facebook before closing it). Backer European, here is still waiting to know how much we will pay the shipping charges and the shipping hub promised in the kickstrater will ultimately never happen. I know people who will pay double their pledge in customs fees and deliveries with a delay of more than 3 years on the delivery date announced … We do not even know the new team that… Read more »
If what @veyron says is true it is a shame, as this is a very nice render with lots of character. I hope they get it sorted as more players in the market place are better than fewer.
@beardragon14 The kickstarter was/is significantly behind schedule and seems to have run into some serious issues regarding meeting all the promises made in the campaign. I’ve only been loosely following it, waiting for retail. I think KS backers have/are getting their pledges, though with additional shipping costs. It looks like they are going full retail Feb 1st. I’ll be ordering a monster or two. If they are as good as I hope I’ll probably buy several more in the future.
Ahhh, Thanks for the info … Keep us posted on what the mini is like
Wait for February 1st I would still not be delivered after paying 4 years ago! In effte I pledged 4 years ago and I do not know exactly how much will be my port charges, I just have a price range (but even these are not given because they imposed us the following and countersignature , We were told expressly that if we wanted a cheaper port fee, we had to indicate that we did not want to follow it, but in this case the CC is released from any responsibility in case of loss, And we will not have… Read more »
* Indeed I have been plexed 4 years ago and I do not know exactly (google trad 😉 )
Woo hoo! I’ve been waiting a long time for these. I have several armies that need a centerpiece like this! Light years ahead of anything else out there! 🙂
Sorry for all of you who feel boned by the kickstarter, but I think it will be worth the wait… and of course, it IS a kickstarter, so congrats on it coming to fruition!
That render gives serious promise that finished product is going to look as good as that does.
It wont. The lucky few that have received their figures are showing soft details, sloppy casting, etc. There’s a good thread on Dakka detailing the trainwreck surrounding these models. I wiouldnt go near them at half the price.
to much going on on the figure a painted figure would have been better i think.
@mech82, @zorg
Nothing is less certain … the figurines received are not of qualities

Yes, I do not think you will have the courage to read the 52 pages of the topic dakaka concerned, but it is edifying …

Good reading, it reads like a novel of adventure, there are beautiful stories, lies, returns of situation and a rather mild end: /
