Get A Closer Look At Norsgards New Orc Templars
August 3, 2016 by brennon
We showed off a little preview of the new Orc Templars for The Scarlet Watch earlier in the week from Norsgard but now we've got another better look at their models. Here we have the Black Fang Templar and Templar Commander...
Now, we got to see the Templar Commander last time but we're now also looking at the Black Fang Templar as an excellent addition to the group. As I mentioned before I LOVE Norsgard's Orc designs.
I've been told that these guys are big compared to the rest of the Norsgard range, real powerhouses. The Templar stands at around 37mm while the Commander with the hammer is at 43mm!
I have to say that despite one of their other factions including Dwarves (The Alliance of the Bat) I think I'd have to pick up these Orcs. I like their design overall, their armour, the weapon choices...basically they rock.
What do you think of them?

very nice, but detail looks a bit fine for the scale
That’s because this are renders and not sculpts.
I think I just found my leaders for my AD&D half-orc faction!
Oooooh ! I needed an orc paladin ! I want those.
Ga ik meeritselen. Ik verzamel de orcs en de barbaren in de Norsgard setting.
Maar vooral de Orcish Paladins spreken me aan.
PRACHTIGE models btw.
Very exciting stuff, though I do have a bit of a bias when it comes to the Norsgard Orc models. They’re big, wonderfully detailed and a few steps away from your general brutish, uncivilized orcs. Not that the Scarlet Watch doesn’t have any black marks in their past, quite the opposite, but it’s nice to have a neutral to good approach to the Orcish archtype for a change!
Also helps the models in the range thus far have been wonderfully cast!
