Preview Figure Roger Pops Up For DUST Off Tournament
September 13, 2016 by brennon
DUST welcomes the next DUST Off Tournament soon where you will be able to compete in a tournament, a painting competition and a cosplay contest too.
Additionally, a special miniature will be available at the event. Roger of the Desert Scorpions will be available for you to snap up!
This is actually based on a previous cosplay effort from the last event. Because of this awesomeness they just had to make it into a model. Maybe the same thing will happen again this time!
If this event interests you we'd love to hear what it's like when you go and the kind of turnout too. It does seem like despite the recent rocky years for DUST they might be getting back on track now.
Will you be going?

Very nice. He looks like gangster and that he would be more at home on streets of Chicago rather than on desert fighting in war.
well after all the ks etc. debacle, fluff wise they are quite literally stuck in the desert…
and with ds releasing more “new” desert stuff this won’t or more likely can’t change anytime soon.
(just for explanations sake. not even arguing here, no “where is my ks stuff”, i don’t want to bash the dedicated fans – they have it hard enough as it is.)
Am I missing something from the cosplay costume? It looks like a guy in a normal suit and jumper, and the only thing to make him stand out is perhaps the hat, in addition to the gun and the armband.
I don’t want to appear overly harsh, but is there some story behind the picture that in turn has made the cosplayer more popular? (He is extremely dapper).
I think it’s a great idea and it gives Dust some original looking minis
