Windmaster Preview Fantasy Giant Ahead Of 2018 Kickstarter
December 11, 2017 by brennon
Windmaster Miniatures have been previewing some of their new Fantasy miniatures that are going to be popping up as part of a Kickstarter campaign which launches next year in January/February 2018.
One of the main models from the collection and one that I think it just superb is the Giant of Lohmunia here, striding over the rocks to start smashing you aside with his deadly looking weapons.
I love the fierce look on his face and the intent of the pose. You could see this being part of a diorama with dead foes all around him and blood dripping from those axes.
Barbarian Heroes
The additional models that have been previewed including this Sorceress and the Warrior. They don't look quite a sharp in terms of detail compared to the giant but I think they could be cool Barbarian figures for your force.
Hopefully, we're going to be seeing them building on this range of models across the coming months and previewing some more of their intended pieces to give us a better idea of the world and the characters within it.
Talking of that they also showed off some sample warbands.
Warbands
Here we have a rather heavily armed and armoured warband featuring some barbaric forces and that minotaur in the background. I like the chap at the front too with his twin hand weapons.
The giant is then dropped into this sample warband below showcasing what it might look like with another monster thrown into the mix.
I'd keep an eye on these guys over the next couple of months because if they keep on with these cool monsters we might find some nice feature pieces to drop into the mix.
What do you think?

zathras?
Heh heh, “Zathras can never have anything nice” — *stomp*
I’m pretty excited about the Minotaur. I just got a bunch of Windmaster’s really nice beastmen and that would go with them perfectly.
Also liking the viking-looking guy with the horned helmet.
