Artel W Miniatures continue to produce some awesome alternative models and they were able to put forth three new previews this week with a range of themes.

Chaplain - Artel W

The first is this hulking alternative for a Chaplain in your force. With skulls all over the place, you can be assured that he deals in death. He has 'walking monastery' look to him which I actually quite like seeing. If you're going to go grimdark then you might as well go completely over the top right?

I can't wait to see the final model here and I hope the posing is tweaked to make him seem like he is striding forwards into the action.

Possessed!

As well as this fellow we have the Demonhost here.

Demonic Host - Artel W

Anyone who has played using Inquisitorial Henchmen will know of these. The idea is that these are men and women who are possessed by demons and then used as a weapon against their own kind by the Inquisition. A heretical idea indeed, but also incredibly potent.

I always liked the idea of doing a Witch Hunter themed Empire army in Warhammer Fantasy battle where the Witch Hunter at its head had in his possession a warped Bright Wizard that he 'thought' he had control of and trotted out onto the battlefield when he was ready to engage the enemy.

It would have proved for some interesting backstory on the tabletop!

Silent Screams

As well as these previews we also got a nice one for an alien creature. Here we have a Banshee-esque warrior with bloody glaive at the ready.

Banshee Warrior - Artel W

You could see a unit of these rushing forward, howling at the tops of their lungs as they plunged into the enemy ranks and tore them asunder.

I like the style of the armour and it certainly lends itself to a top-notch paint scheme.

What do you make of these new previews?
