MoMMiniatures Prepare For Siege With Their Trebuchet
March 9, 2017 by dracs
MoMMiniatures have another fantasy miniature on their workbench, a mighty trebuchet for the Children of the Lion.
Trebuchet were pretty much the epitome of siege equipment, before someone ruined the fun by inventing canons.
This model looks slightly less ornate than some of MoMMiniatures' other work, with the front paws looking a little tacked on. However, this is still a WIP and once painted up this could make a superb centre piece for an army.
Do you like the design of this siege engine?

I’d be LION if I said I didn’t like this all-PAWpose trebuchet ………… 🙂 🙂 🙂 …….. 🙂 ??? ……. 🙁 … okay I’m sorry (again)
A canon is a cleric, a set of rules, a set of genuine works.
A Canon is a brand of Japanese camera.
A cannon is a piece of chemically powered artillery.
A trebuchet is a piece of gravitational-mechanically powered artillery.
Trebuchets only fell out of use several hundred years after gunpowder weapons (mortars, cannons and petards) became available as the wooden weapons functions reliably whereas the others had this persistent nasty habit of blowing up while being operated.
Doesn’t work for me.
