Prepare For A Siege With V&V Miniatures’ New Catapult
February 28, 2017 by brennon
V&V Miniatures has shown off a new addition to their Historical collection. These 40mm figures might not exactly measure up for regular wargaming but the Medieval Catapult gives you a nice little diorama which could be good for a painting competition!
In the set, you get the three artillery crewmen that you see here as well as the catapult itself for flinging rocks at enemy fortifications (or indeed other soldiers). They are based on soldiers from the period of the Hundred Years War, giving you an idea as to how you'd maybe paint them up.
I think, as mentioned above, that you could use them for a diorama, set on a muddy battlefield as your army prepares to siege an enemy castle. It could make for a very evocative piece.
What do you think?

nice.
Looks like the catapult would also work decently in 25-32mm and just be a larger version of one
