Pre-Order Alien Dungeon’s Ironclad and Send it Over the Martian Front
November 3, 2014 by dracs
There is no doubt that one of the most anticipated miniatures of Alien Dungeon's game of WWI style alien invasion is the mighty Land Ironclad, a massive mechanised monster of a model fielded by the American troops. Now the wait is finally over as the Ironclad goes up for pre-order.
The Ironclad is the most powerful weapon created by humanity to deal with the Martians, featuring a enough fire power to take down the tripods, while being protected from their heat rays by its thick asbestos shielding.
Meanwhile, the British Expeditionary Forces get some new vehicles of their own, bringing them swift, mobile fire power to serve on scouting missions.
The designs of both of these armoured cars look like plausible vehicles you could have found, the Spectors in particular being reportedly based upon civilian Rolls Royce Spectres.
All of these new human vehicles mean that we can now start taking the fight to the Martians in the battles of All Quiet on the Martian Front. The one I am most excited for is, of course, the Ironclad. Something that size really conveys how epic in scale the conflicts of this game are.
Have you joined the battle against the Martian menace? Will you pre-order any of these for your armies?

This is a massive model. All we need now is for it to be made in 28mm scale.
A 28mm scale Land Ironclad would certainly qualify as ‘super heavy’…
That is very cool. Really liking the range for this game, reminds me of the old pc game, which I’m assuming is part inspiration for it.
I can see this joining Warren’s Nachtwulfen…
You have to love the Land Ironclad – the sheer firepower it can project allows the humans to blast Tripods on equal terms in a way no other human unit can. Of course, the Martian Overlord Tripod is their equivalent class of unit, but we have yet to see a model for that.
The BEF armoured cars are always fun, and feel really appropriate to the period. That they have excellent maneuverability and pretty good firepower for their size doesn’t hurt either…
My son got to play one at Historicon last summer. He had the biggest ear-to-ear grin ever. He still asks me to get him one even now!
