Crooked Dice have previewed some new miniatures coming out next month that will be helping you go a bit prehistoric. These 28mm miniatures were sculpted by Stephane Enjolras and Micah Nichols and are looking great!

Cavemen - Crooked Dice

Cavemen // Crooked Dice

The first set of miniatures are for the Cavemen who look like you've just disturbed them as they were waking up from their afternoon nap. This happy family of Cavemen (and women) look like they are ready to go out on the hunt and beat up some interlopers or tackle some deadly creatures out in the wilds.

I really like the bearded fellow on the righthand side of the image and the snarling youth next to him. They seem like they would be great for telling a prehistorical tale in some games of 7TV.

If you're looking for some foes for them to go up against, you can also get these Lizardmen next month.

Lizardmen - Crooked Dice

Lizardmen // Crooked Dice

I could see both of these sets working quite well together if you were going to go down the Pulp route. Perhaps those Cavemen above are travelling to a new part of the world where they are set upon by these more evolved Lizardmen that developed from the dinosaurs that survived the devastating world-ending event that killed the rest of their kin. Hiding away beneath the surface, they have come back to reclaim the land and find themselves facing down humankind.

Both of these sets are going to be dropping in August so watch out for them!
