Pre-Orders For Warlord’s Black Seas Will Net You A Wreck
September 2, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games have a new game on the horizon called Black Seas which will have you engaging in ship-to-ship combat during the period of 1770-1830.
There's not much to go on right now for the game although there have been a few demos and such for it popping up at events. We got to talk to Warlord about the game at Salute this year and you can find the rundown of the game and its basics here...
The key news for you this week though was that if you pre-order the game then you'll get yourself a wrecked and battered Third-Rate Ship of the Line terrain piece.
There's no news in particular on when this is going to be popping up live on their webstore but I would imagine it can't be far off. It seems like Warlord Games have their sights set on creating alternative games for all of their different periods of warfare. We shall wait and see with this one but I would guess there are folks out there who would like to get stuck into another age of sail-style wargame.
Are you tempted by this?

Beat to quarters thankyou Mr @Avernos! We get get that scoundrel @dignity & the 1000 guineas bounty on him!!
it looks like a very nice game. Hoping to see an unboxing and at least a couple of lets play for this. Colour me intrigued!!
I just remembered I won this.
A great looking ship wreck model.
Nice, this could tempt me into a preorder.
Please do a comparison with Oak&Iron as and when that’s released.
I’m willing to look at this, but I’ve already bought into Oak and Iron in a big way.
