Warcradle Studios has now started taking pre-orders for the world of Mythos. You can now pre-order three kits from the team over on their webstore starting with the Mythos Rules & Gubbins box.
This particular set pretty much does what it says on the tin. Inside the set, you're going to get access to all of the different bits of kit that you actually need to play the game. Here is the full list of goodies that you'll find within...
- 1x Rule Book
- 1x Torrent Template
- 4x Dice
- 8x Objective Tokens
- 12x Condition Tokens
- 26x Wound Tokens
- 26x Madness Tokens
You are able to snap up this set and then one of the two Faction Starter Sets in order to get going. This certainly seems to be a good way to dive into skirmishing games of this ilk where you might have your sights set on a particular faction later on down the line or you have some of the old miniatures from previous iterations of Mythos.
Faction Starter Sets
As we've seen in previous news pieces, we have The Hidden Ones...
...and The Priory who are ready for you to use in-game. You get a good selection of different characters who fulfil various roles plus something monstrous for good measure.
Within The Hidden Ones set you get The Fisherman, The Dunsmouth Witch, Click-Clack, Molly Malone, and finally The Angler. On the other side of things, you have The Priory who are led by Kitty Page, Zachary Lazarus, Maharal, Zeus, Bertie Smythe and also Abigail Halsy.
These miniatures are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the world of Mythos. Taking a peek at what else is on the horizon, we also saw a rather fun preview of the Custos Crypta who are on the horizon.
It is worth diving in and finding out more about the world of Mythos. So, make sure to delve in and follow along to see what Warcradle have coming up next.
Are you tempted by the world of Mythos?
"Are you tempted by the world of Mythos?"
Fabulous figures.
I love that they have called the starter box rules and gubbins. That tells me everything I need to know about this game. The Hiddeen Ones look like they could do double duty as Rashaar in Carnevale which could be useful.
I have a Warcradle ‘thing” that is almost as strong as my Mantic”thing” when it comes to smaller companies that really deliver quality content. I love Warcradle’s ability to flesh out a world through developing an interesting background through well designed. Going to at least get the rules and the priory for starters then I’ll see what develops.
