The Malachite Mystics are now available for you to pre-order over on the Goblin King Games webstore! This is the latest Troupe Box for those wanting to dive into the whimsical 32mm Fantasy world of Moonstone.

Malachite Mystics Box - Moonstone

Malachite Mystics Troupe Box // Moonstone

The new boxed set continues to build on the worshipers of the Nature God, Leshavit. Gwendoline and Reagan are both Leshavult Priestesses and they are intrinsically linked to the use of Malachite, a stone that is sacred to them. Klaus then steps into the mix as the companion to Raegen and by extension, Gwendoline.

With a tight bond forged by their worship of Leshavit and Reagan having a hand in saving Klaus as almost sister and best friend, this should make for a great troupe for you to use on the tabletop.

When it comes to gameplay, Klaus is very much a heavy-hitter in melee. He might be a little clumsy but he is able to benefit from the protection of Reagan. Being able to avoid the first point of damage he suffers each turn allows him to dive into combat, especially with his "Hold My Beer" ability.

Talking of Raegan, she is able to bring some seriously powerful arcane abilities to the tabletop. Much like with Klaus, whilst she might end up doing some damage to herself earlier on, she will be able to dominate later on in the game.

Gwendoline is back with a different sculpt and she steps into the Moonstone ring with zero offensive output. She is very much about positioning and healing her friends in the middle of a scrap. She can also fight alongside Faeries if you like rather than being used as part of a Leshavult Cult. With a melee heavy-hitter, dominant spellcaster and healer working together, this feels like a nicely rounded Troupe Box for use in-game!

If you're interested in learning more about these characters then keep an eye out for the new "The Arising" expansion book which is coming to Kickstarter soon. The new book builds on the unfolding storyline of Moonstone and could be a great way to get started in the game too.

Are you going to be picking this up for Moonstone?
