The fleets of the Empire Of Dust are now available for you to pre-order for Mantic Games' Armada. Take to the high seas as this terrifying undead army with Starter Fleets, Booster Fleets and more...
Empire Of Dust Fleet // Armada
These new resin ships are an awesome alternative take on a Fantasy armada that combines the look and feel of tall ships with the aesthetic of the Ancient Egyptians. Here is what the folks at Mantic had to say about their background...
"Raised from the depths by bale-eyed High Priests, the great war-barges of the Ahmunite Empire serve their unloving masters once more. Their hulls now built from the polished bones of the Mighty Dead, their crews silent, tireless, the warfleets of the Empire of Dust prepare to restore glory to Nehkesharr."
As mentioned above, there are a few different options for you to choose from with the Empire Of Dust. The Starter Fleet comes with a War Galley, Kopeshii and Soul Hunter.
Khopeshii // Armada
The Booster Fleet comes with a few more options for building up your fleet and offering you different options for gameplay. It gives you another Kopeshii plus a Dust Chaser and then four smaller Slave Squadrons which can be used to screen your fleet.
Soul Hunter // Armada
There is also a full Getting Started Bundle for you to pick up from Mantic as well which combines the Starter Fleet, Booster Fleet plus the Rulebook, Dice and more.
War Galley // Armada
If you're interested in these mighty and magical ships which are laden down with weapons then you can dive into a recent blog post by Mantic Games which talked more about the various ships and what they can do.
I might have been drawn to the Dwarf fleet originally but these ships from the Empire Of Dust are pretty darn excellent looking I have to say.
Are you tempted by them for Armada?

Each of the two-masted ships look odd to me. To my eyes, each needs a third sail.
yeah … they do appear to be oddly spaced …
maybe undead are weird ? 😉
I would be more controversial and say they each need one less sail. Being styled on the Greco-Roman style ships (Biremes and Triremes etc), having two masts just doesn’t feel right
No bowsprit which helps the mainsails to be more forward on the ship’s
One more, or one less, but not so. This uneven placement of masts is just odd…
I’ve been waiting for this. Trigger pulled!
Interesting looking ships to add to the game.
*head jerks as if suddenly hearing voices* “What’s that Mantic?” “You want me to collect ALL the navies?” “I was going to stop with the three I have. I thought that sounded sensible” “What?” “Oh okay if you put it that way …” ……. *sigh*
