Pre-Order Four New Wave Two Conquest Start Playing Sets
October 26, 2020 by brennon
Wave Two of the Start Playing Sets have been introduced into the mix for those playing Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and joining us on the #PathOfConquest. These sets from Para Bellum Wargames come with a bunch of great miniatures and additional options to get you going.
The Hundred Kingdoms Start Playing Wave 2 // Conquest
Start Your Conquest Army @ Store.OnTableTop
These sets come with a selection of different miniatures from the Wave One offerings making them a good option for those who might have already dived into this game. You get a new character for each set, some solid core options for your force, paint, dice and a brush!
The Spires Start Playing Wave 2 // Conquest
All of these options are a good way for you to dive into playing Conquest as a mass battle game or as part of their First Blood Skirmish system. I like the idea of playing around with these sets and getting a handful of miniatures painted before diving into a skirmish to get yourself immersed in this world.
Nords Start Playing Wave 2 // Conquest
The Nord set (shown above) comes with some seriously cool miniatures. It is hard to turn down a set which comes with a massive Jotnar and some of their wild warrior who have quite a bit in common with the wolves of the North!
Dweghom Start Playing Wave 2 // Conquest
The Dweghom are obviously a big draw for me too. I just can't say no to those luscious beards! You get a good mix of core troops in here plus some of those raging berserker too. It is pretty hard to choose between the Dweghom and the Nords for me as I like both of them. Maybe I'll just pick up some of their core characters instead!
What do you think of these new sets from Para Bellum Wargames?

Those boxed sets look ace.
The colour scheme bottles is a great touch to a good set starter boxes.
Hmmm…these are tempting. Though if I were to make a Dweghom start-playing set, I’d want a set of Inferno Automata and a unit of those guys with the flame cannons instead. I keep kicking around getting into Conquest since I still have a ton of unpainted stuff, but one or two units couldn’t hurt… (he said unconvincingly)
That giant model is really fantastic, I’m going to nab it some day for my orcs and goblins army
