Powerful Cavalry Joins The Old Dominion In Conquest!

Some mighty new models have joined the roster of offerings for the Old Dominion in Para Bellum Wargames' Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings. Leading the way is the new Hierodeacon who sends shivers down the spine.

These self-ordained Hierodeacons preach the "good" word and seek to continue their mission of sin. Their hope that is they continue to shout at the top of their voices, their new masters might be able to bring terror and bloodshed to the world in waves. Using their Dark Shepard ability, they can destroy units in order to generate Dark Power Tokens which can be used to fuel your machinations.

As well as the new character, you can also ride into battle with the Kataphraktoi.

As a dark and ancient shadow of the knights that now ride into battle as part of the Hundred Kingdoms, these Kataphraktoi are heavily armed and armoured. They are a great shock troop on the battlefield and it helps that neither steed nor rider feel pain. Their unstoppable charge is going to break even the most stalwart of foes.

I am really liking the look of the new models for the Old Dominion. I think that Para Bellum Wargames have nailed the style exceptionally well and these should be a joy to paint. I like that the undead elements are clearly there, but they are often hidden behind the rotting and rusting armour. It makes them stand out from traditional undead armies in Fantasy wargames.
