December 23, 2021 by fcostin
It seems as if tabletop games is getting a lot of attention recently. We all know that the wonderful Henry Cavill has become the poster child of all things 40k, but the collaboration between a new a-list celebrity and Magic: The Gathering brings forth a new post child for competitive card games.
Post Malone has confirmed on his Twitter that he will be teaming up with Wizards of the Coast for collaboration with Magic: The Gathering, starting off with Friday Night Magic. Who knows where Post Malone will be taking card players next!
Post Malone // Magic: The Gathering Advocate
“I’m obsessed with Magic: The Gathering, this is really a dream come true. We’ll be doing some cool stuff so keep an eye out.”
It is wonderful seeing representatives getting passionate about the game systems we love and adore. With Wizards of the Coast showing full support for Posty and the magic that will be created in the future.
“As a fan for years, he knows just how much Friday Night Magic means to players. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Posty in ways that will allow his signature style, talent and love of the game to combine in ways fans will never forget.”
It is really exciting to see more and more celebrities showing interest in our industry. With more intrigue, it is always nice to see representation in the masses as an excuse for newcomers to get stuck in and involved.
What do you think about Post Malone becoming the tabletop advocate for Magic: The Gathering?

I’m too old to know who he is.
Never heard of him either
He played Commander on an episode of Game Knights (popular MTG YouTube show) over the summer. From what I’ve read he’s actually a pretty down-to-earth chill dude, and a legit MTG fan.
the poor guy slept at school a lot did he ?
Amazing how someone with a reported net worth of $45 million cannot afford to go to a good tattoo artist.
That’s how he got so rich… he saved all the money that would have been spend on tattoos 😉
As the old saying goes, “Nothing that can’t be fixed with some dettol and a wire brush”.
Stingy Lol.
I have never had any interest in M:TG, but after reading this news I somehow have even less interest.
1) who is Post Malone
2) what sort of a name is “Post”?
who? and why has he got a stupid name?
