PlayFusion Discuss Future Direction For Age Of Sigmar Champions
July 23, 2019 by brennon
PlayFusion has put forth an update this week talking about the new direction Age Of Sigmar Champions is taking over the coming months.
The focus looks to be twisting to support those playing the digital version of the game. This means more support and depth added into the ranked mode on devices and consoles alongside a series of events that will be run during the Autumn.
Physical play for the game is also going to be changing with more focus on the casual aspect of the game. Casual events and this focus on just having a bit of fun will usher in a new game-in-a-box product which will include everything someone needs to play the game with their friends including campaign decks and playmats.
Unleashed Coming Soon
Unleashed is the new set which is focused on the Daughters Of Khaine launching an assault from the Realm Of Shadows. This will be released digitally first on August 14th with a print run of the physical cards coming later in the year. This gives them time to test and tweak the cards in a digital format before releasing a more refined version later.
Do you still play a lot of Age Of Sigmar Champions in the digital realm or are you more into gaming in person?

The digital app could do with some fresh blood, queue times are getting longer every season, but it’s always encouraging to see how much PF respond to the community.
Sounds good but never play the game.
