Plastic Starter Forces On The Way For Dark Age SAGA
October 11, 2015 by brennon
Gripping Beast revealed to Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy that they are going to be making a range of plastic starter sets for their Dark Age skirmish battle game SAGA. You can see the two boxed sets below...
The boxes are going to be made up of a range of sprues from the existing plastic kits allowing you to make a warband quickly and easily. They will all also come with the appropriate bases meaning that you'll have a larger one for your Warlord.
I think this is going to be great for the game and cuts down the cost of entry significantly.
Will you be getting one of these?

Will be good once they bring out cavalry in plastics.
This might be the threshold point that drags me into Saga.
What’s in the box other than the figures and bases?
Those plastic figures have been available (for less £) for years now..
If it does contain all the rules & tokens I’ll pick one up 😎
Btw..I think this is crying out loudly ‘SAGA BOOTCAMP 2016’ – learn about Dark Age fun in Ireland 😎
I’m a metal miniatures guy myself, but it’s nice to see GrippingBeast is doing plastic 4pts. starter packs. Should bring in never more players to this fantastic game.
I bet Ragnar approves.
Looks ace!
More plastic kits only mean good things as a gamer! 🙂
Great stuff.
Oh no…
Strange…..Annie (dicebag lady) came out with this idea first…now GB are doing it themselves
is there a releasedate given?
