Plastic Soldier Tease Battlegroup Pacific War Coming Soon

The Plastic Soldier Company has been teasing the coming of a new book for those who want to dive into a different theatre of war. Pacific War is on the cards and it shouldn't be very far away if you like the idea of doing some island hopping!
As noted on the cover, this particular instalment in the series is going to cover the conflict in the Far East and the Pacific Theatre towards the tail end of the war. This means we're going to be seeing a lot of Americans clashing with the Japanese.
A lot of folks are already wondering if Plastic Soldier Company are also going to work on some new miniatures for both sides to go along with the release of the book. It seems appropriate Japanese armour and soldiers are very much in demand.
Are you going to be keeping an eye out for this?

Amazing! It took my ages to talk Jamie into playing ‘Kursk’, but he almost fainted when I told him there was going to be a Pacific set of rules. We can’t wait for the minis. The ‘Battlegroup’ set of rules are far better than any other WW2 game in any scale. Really dynamic to play and there are not books, and books of stuff to learn. Does anyone know how easy it is to adapt Battlegroup to 28mm?
I’ve played it once at a smaller scale a little while ago, but I’ve since acquired a ton of 28mm stuff to play Bolt Action, and I wouldn’t mind throwing this system into the rotation since I’ve heard so much good about it.
Is it scale-agnostic?
I can’t see any problem with using 28mm in Battlegroup. I’m slowly building platoon scale forces in 28mm using Perry miniatures for Sicily based off of the Torch book lists.
Very scale agnostic. It works ok with 28mm and a 350 to 400 point army roughly equates to a force in Bolt Action of 1250 to 1500 points.
Of course smaller scales allow bigger battles but don’t be put off.
