Plastic Scandinavian Test Models Arm Themselves From FireForge
February 15, 2017 by brennon
Giving you a sense of the kind of models and their weapons available as part of their upcoming set of infantry FireForge Games has shown off some previews for their Scandinavian Infantry.
The set is going to come with a fair amount of options it seems include some big axes (nice and Northern) as well as some armours and then a fellow wielding a bardiche for hacking down those pesky riders who dare to charge at them.
They are coming along nicely and with an April release, you won't have long to wait before they hit the tabletop.
What do you think?

Those would make good Baratheon Troopers for my game of thrones project.
I like ’em. All Fireforge models exceed my expectations. 🙂
Hmm… could these be used as Varangian infantry in a Byzantine Army? Not the Guard, but mercenaries?
I think they would work as any Scandihooligans roaming around post-viking times so 1100-1200
Shut up and take my money!
Might take a closer look at these for SAGA. Nice initial sculpts
Fireforge just jumped to the top of my list, the gent on the left would make a great huscarl.
Elsewhere was a discussion about the historical accuracy of the armour they wear..
To be honest I couldn’t care less, they look the part and wil be great for all sorts of projects. Love ’em!
Good point. 🙂 I didn’t even know I needed a box until I saw them 🙂
As long as there is no horns on the helmet – I can ignore details on the armour
That said I can on those 3 see anything I would not be able to see at the Danish National Museum
they would look good in many army’s.
