First Plastic Guards Of Traitor’s Toll Miniatures Pop Up!
October 1, 2024 by brennon
Grey For Now Games are starting to show off some of the new 28mm plastic miniatures that you'll be able to pick up for playing their Fantasy skirmish game, Guards Of Traitor's Toll. These kits will be coming from Wargames Atlantic!
Guardsmen // Guards Of Traitor's Toll
First up, we have the Guardsmen. The set will come with a couple of frames of six bodies alongside the cloaked captain and the female guard (right). These particular miniatures are painted by Jez Allum and, diving into the background, wear the colours of Lord Grennith from the background. The symbol of the city is shown on the captain, the dagger over the coin!
You'll be able to make use of the plastic set to make all manner of different Guards to suit either the setting from Grey For Now Games or one of your design. I already like the detail in the sculpts and how grizzled these fellows look!
As well as the Guardsmen, we also got a look at miniatures for the Cityfolk as well.
Cityfolk // Guards Of Traitor's Toll
This is another of the multi-part plastic kits from Wargames Atlantic where a frame will consist of three male and three female bodies. They will have a variety of capes, aprons, scarves and sashes which can change their look to make different types of Cityfolk.
They can also carry a variety of different small items because of their empty hand arms as well as fish, cleavers, flowers, sickles, owls and more. It's a great option for those wanting to make varied NPCs for your games. Plus, you can use all the bits on your market stalls as well!
Guards Of Traitor's Toll isn't that far off now! Are you going to be diving in? Find out more about the game as part of the Facebook Group!

I can see a use for the city folk as NPC’s about town in a variety of games.
They look good, I wonder if they would scale well with the townsfolk from archon studio?
Assuming those are on 25mm bases, it looks to me like they would be a tiny bit bigger, and a tiny bit more heroically proportioned (whether that’s out of the range of acceptable difference depends on the player). The Archon Studio townsfolk are great sculpts, but a bit on the small side when compared to most fantasy miniatures out there these days- I was really looking forward to them when I got them, and a bit disappointed by how small they are. Anyway, looking forward to these guys!
This game is very intriguing to me- feels like the type of game I always was looking for when I was younger (though I have no idea if it actually is that)- skirmish-y, miniatures-driven, rich in story enough to be on the cusp of roleplaying while still being a fast paced game of action. Looking forward to seeing more!
Oh, man, these are an auto-buy.
Like the fishmonger 👍🔪🐬
He seems like a character out of the movie ‘Gangs of New York’.
These are looking nice, good sculpts and lovely paint jobs on them.
The amount of high quality plastic fantasy miniatures out there now is absolutely amazing. I can see a few of these appearing in my Symbaroum project. Are these going to be available direct from Wargames Atlantic or do I have to go via Grey For Now?
Taking 0200 Hours as a template, I would expect they will.
I will differently being purchasing a few boxes of the City Folks. They look fantastic for a number of game systems.
Yes. Yes I will!
