Plaid Hat Bring New Heroes to Guardians’ Roster In The Uprising Pack

More heroes are lending their unique abilities to Plaid Hat's card game Guardians in the upcoming Uprising Hero Pack.
"Introducing Uprising, a brand-new hero pack for Guardians! Each hero pack contains four new heroes to add to your collection, including their unique power deck and ultimate cards! Atrivoxx is a shadowy figure cloaked in mystery capable of manipulating aberrant Void energy to dispatch his enemies.
Chamber is a daredevil pilot that traverses the battlefield while generating explosive energy from his arm cannon. Nightshade can bend nature to her will and strangle the life out of anyone foolish enough to stand in her way. Pandora has been entrusted with the ability to reshape time itself to prevent a dark future.
Each hero brings an all-new element to Guardians, allowing players to explore even more combinations and strategies when forming their team."
The new heroes all have their own unique play mechanics and style. I particularly like that we are seeing a bit more of variety in terms of body-type with the character Pandora, whose own time-based powers sound like they'll be fun to build tactics around.
The ex0pansion also brings in a new rule in the form of Blast Damage.
Blast Damage sounds particularly painful as the player has to choose how to allocate damage among the heroes they control. Place it all on one to serve as a damage sponge, or spread it out evenly among them? Either way, you have considerations to keep in mind when formulating your strategies.
This expansion for Guardians sounds like it will provide some fun alternatives for when it comes to expanding your hero roster and building your teams. Blast Damage is a particularly interesting prospect, while each of the different heroes sports a cool design. Definitely hoping we see this trend continue as the game progresses.
Is Guardians a game that holds your interest? Which of the new heroes is your favourite?
