Why go Green, when you could have Blue?
October 19, 2011 by beerogre
German company PK-Pro have just launched a new range of modelling putty called PK-Pro Blue.
Romain and I argue long into the night about which putty is the best... Milliput... Procreate... Kneadatite... which is the same/similar to that stuff the comes from Games Workshop... you know the green looking stuff...
All of them have some properties that make them better in certain situations. In fact I believe this will make an excellent new series of 3 Colours Up reviews... modelling putty.
Just to avoid any missunderstanding, PK-Pro Blue is not a putty! This stuff is a two part kneadable silicone. It is for making moulds for your putty or resin casting, to duplicate small bits etc.
Yeah… It’s a putty. Oh, all right, whatever, it’s semantics…
Anything you knead into shape is putty, to my eyes. There are all sorts of putties for all sorts of uses… Including moulding and casting.

Go for it Andy, we need such things.
Hey thank you Gridreaper for your answer. You are right, PK-Blue is the first of a series of kneatable silikons! You can work on it for 10 minutes untill it harden in about 120 minutes. We are just working on a farst hardening silikon called PK-Blue-Fast!
