Pirates Of The Dread Sea Now Ready For Release
July 10, 2020 by brennon
Dead Earth Games has now released not just the Core Rulebook for Pirates Of The Dread Sea but also a bunch of new miniatures too. We start with the rulebook which introduces you to this world of Fantastical pirate tabletop goodness.
Pirates Of The Dread Sea // Dead Earth Games
This book is hardback and comes in at around 100 pages. Inside you'll find the rules to play Pirates Of The Dread Sea and the background for this Fantasy world. This also means you'll find options for making crews of Humans, Undead, Dwarf, Elf and Ratmen who are seeking their fortune. This is all bundled into a series of progression rules for campaigns and lots of artwork too.
Pirates Of The Dread Sea Miniatures
As well as the Core Rulebook, you can also check out three full crews, two of which (Humans & Undead) are available as part of their Starter Set.
Human Crew // Dead Earth Games
Dwarf Crew // Dead Earth Games
Undead Crew // Dead Earth Games
Each of these looks fantastic and give you a great way to get started in the game. The aforementioned Starter Set for the game comes with the two crews, a bunch of tokens plus of course the rulebook to get you going in the game.

“Skeleton Crew” gets a new meaning XD
Yeah like this may pick the book up then add some black scorpion dwarf pirates to the crew above. Been meaning to make a purchase so will go for a multi game fantasy warband.
Really got into my fantasy settings lately. I’ve always been a shooty shooty tanks tanks boom sort of wargamer the more Tech hardware the better but recently my tastes have changed thanks mainly to Mr Mcclloughs Oathmark and Alex Huntleys Arcworlde work add Adam Clarke’s Black Scorpion minis to the mix and I think I’ve made the switch at a great time. Life is good ???
nice pirate crews.
I backed the kickstarter. The book is gorgeous and the rules look clear to me (no games in lockdown though…). The minis are gorgeous as well – well detailed and very easy to paint. Most of them scale well with Reaper or Black Scorpion.
Hi Brian! Thanks for the positive feedback and for backing our Kickstarter. Really pleased you’re happy with your pledge 🙂
Looking into that Undead Crew, love the addition of the Necromancer / Shaman style character!
Thanks! She’s massively important in game too – after all, someone had to RAISE the undead.
