Warlord’s Pike & Shotte Expands Into The War of Religion With Infantry
May 21, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Warlord continues with the new releases this week, this time we march back in time to the years of 1524 to 1648 and the War of Religion for their game Pike and Shotte.
In this set they concentrate on the 16 foot long pike and the supporting firearm troops. You can build yourself might walls made from companies of these pike men to hold the ground and the supporting firearms to cause terror (and a lot of smoke) among those charging the ranks.
The box includes 24 miniatures in 28mm and are metal. The uniforms look like they were sculpted well and the nice thing about this time period you have plenty of colours to choose from. So form your ranks and prepare to go into battle behind these brave souls.
Do you think you could have stood the line?

I’d play this time period of wargaming but only for the chance to make my bested opponent listen to ‘Losing my Religion’ by REM as penance for their poor performance. 🙂
