The PHR’s Ajax Class Cruiser Painted Up For Dropfleet Commander

Hawk Wargames have painted up the first of their PHR Fleet. The Ajax Class Cruiser is just one of their awesome ships coming to the tabletop through the Dropfleet Commander Kickstarter...
I'm loving the sleek and unassuming look of the PHR ships but when you look closer you see how bristling with weapons this creation is. I also like the contrast between the cream 'shell' of the ship and those bright blue innards.
I maintain that the PHR are probably the best looking faction in both Dropfleet and Dropzone Commander.

Stunning. The phr looking so good will really test my willpower not to pledge. I have more miniature games that I can conceivably play.
They’ve just topped £400K and you have got to see their Kickstarter exclusive battlecruisers… Glad that specialist games are being revived but I think with the new diverse wargaming culture (compared to early 2000s), Hawk Wargames, Battlefront, Corvus Belli and Wyrd Games – the future looks very bright for us 🙂
IMO the PHR are the best looking of the Dropzone universe. Does anyone know if they’re the same in game as the PHR in DZC? I love the look of em but the “slow and killy” thing isn’t my thing.

That is one sexy ship, there’s some nice lighting effect on it. It definitely is represented of the smaller PHR from DZC, but it is very much different and satisfying enough for DFC, while fitting in thematically and aesthetically.
