Perry Miniatures Show Off 3Ups For Their Zulu British
November 5, 2016 by brennon
Perry Miniatures are now moving on to bring the Zulu British to life. Here you can see some of the 3Ups from the range so far showing off the command elements, basic troops and more...
The models are looking amazing, just as you might have imagined from the Perry Miniatures range, and packed with detail. You can tell that the twins are Historical buffs.
Here's what the Perry twins had to say...
"The infantry are in 'fighting kit' i.e. waistbelt and pouches plus water bottle and haversack so thus useful for the Anglo-Zulu War 1879, the 9th Cape Frontier War 1877-78, the 1st Anglo Boer War 1880-81 and the Anglo Egyptian War of 1882.
The keen eyed of you will also notice that heads in Home Service helmets are included enabling you to defend Britain against the fiendish French, the rascally Russians or even the minx-like Martians!"
Adding to this we also got to see some of their wounded models too which will work great as objectives on the battlefield.
I'm not sure if 'Leave No Man Behind' was something that applied during this period but I'd certainly see a scenario brewing where you had to head into dangerous territory to save your fellow soldiers.
Will you be joining their Zulu British band when these get released?

Those are simply stunning! They look even better than their Second Afghan War Brits. I think I’ll have to get about three boxes to have the full garrison of Rorke’s Drift. Of course they’ll be all named individually 😎
Half the other half will be Jones/ insert No.
And I sure hope they will be doing Zulus as well!
Farsends of ’em.
they do look good.
I hope they do Boer soldiers also, would be keen to play the boer war in 28mm
