Perry Release New Officers For Triple Alliance Wargamers

Perry Miniatures has released three new sets for those wanting to dive into the War Of The Triple Alliance. The new packs give you Mounted Officers for the Brazilians, Argentines and Uruguayans that can be used to lead your forces.

There are some really awesome miniatures within these sets that give you a range of different options when building an army. Want a more relaxed officer? You got that. Want a more proactive leader who is urging his soldiers on to victory? You got that too!

Argentine Mounted Officers // Perry Miniatures

As I have often said, the War Of The Triple Alliance is one of those conflicts that I'd never even heard of before Perry Miniatures started creating miniatures for it. From a little bit of reading, it does feel like a fascinating time period to wargame in and it shaped the look of South America as we know it today.

One of the nice things about the different factions here is that you've got plenty of pageantry all around. Much like a lot of the wars happening at this period, it was almost as much about looking good as it was about being effective in a fight. I love the uniforms and I think they'd be a lot of fun to paint.
