Perry Preview Prussian & Russian Napoleonic Miniatures
November 17, 2020 by brennon
Perry Miniatures popped up with some fun previews of what's up next in their Napoleonic range recently as they showed off the 3ups for a selection of Prussian and Russian plastic miniatures which are on the horizon.
Prussian Napoleonic Dragoons // Perry Miniatures
Both the Prussian and Russian Dragoons (see below) will come as part of the same box and can be made thanks to the various options on the sprues. You can then build the entire set as Prussians or Russians or perhaps a mix of both if you just need a few to bulk out an existing unit.

As with all of the plastic sets from Perry Miniatures, there will be all manner of interesting options in there. You'll be able to swap out bodies, legs, weapons, heads, weapons and more to fit the specific kind of Dragoons that you need for your army.
The same horse frame is going to be used as part of the Russian Uhlans set which will be separate from the Dragoons showcased above.

Every time I see anything to do with the Napoleonic era I am always tempted to just dive in and buy a bunch of miniatures to suit the period. I then get terribly stressed about the thought of painting so many horses and complicated uniforms! Maybe I will continue to just admire Napoleonics from afar and doff my cap to those who paint up such wonderful armies for the tabletop?
Are you tempted to start up a Napoleonic Russian force when Perry Miniatures release these plastic kits?

Ooh they look fabulous cavalry.
Great stuff, was really disappointed with Warlord’s Prussian cavalry but these look the bees knees
