Perry Miniatures Add New Hefty French & Prussian Artillery
June 15, 2023 by brennon
Perry Miniatures have added three new sets for you to consider using when playing as the French or the Prussians during the Franco-Prussian War. There are a couple of options here and also some new 28mm Prussian Infantry that are hunkering down.
French 12pdr With Crew Loading // Perry Miniatures
The first of the kits is the French 12pdr which is being loaded up by a full crew. The cannon, as you can see, has been sculpted by John Boadle and then the crew have come from the Perrys. They look decidedly relaxed considering the explosions and shouting probably going on around them.
The Prussians are then stepping into the breach (hah) with another gun by John Boadle alongside some more well-drilled individuals.

One of the neat things about the gun is that it comes with a choice of breech that can be opened or closed. I'm sure that there is plenty of reasons why you'd want to tinker with this during your games, if not just for authenticity during particular moments.
Go, Prone Lads!
Some of the infantry have decided that it's time to hit the deck though. You can get your hands on this set where they have gone prone and are seeing if they can snipe their enemies from afar. With all that artillery flying around, it's perhaps a good idea to get low!
Prussian Infantry - Prone // Perry Miniatures
These three options are available for you to snap up right now from the folks at Perry Miniatures. A small selection of releases but also plenty of awesomeness for those that want to make their French and Prussian armies pop with some extra figures. The prone miniatures in particular would be great for folks seeking to make some cool dioramas as well as building units.
Will you be picking up these new kits?
