PAX Unplugged Returns To Physical Event December 2021
October 6, 2021 by fcostin
PAX Unplugged is back! And it is better than ever, with new restrictions in place to keep con-goers safe. After successful safety protocols at PAX West earlier this year, PAX Unplugged is raring to go this December in the Philidelphia Convention Centre.
With the recent developments from PennyArcade and Reedpop, it has now been confirmed that PAX Unplugged will be returning to its former glory of a physical event on December 10th-12th 2021.

There are no badges for the event on sale just yet, just the announcement of badges being held as individual days (e.g Friday, Saturday or Sunday), or go full force and attend for the weekend with a three-day-badge.
Although PAX Unplugged may be open for a physical event, an attempt to keep attendees safe, they will be required to show full proof of COVID-19 vaccination along with other requirements such as social distancing a mask usage.
Publishers far and wide will be heading over to PAX Unplugged this year, including the likes of Leder Games, Kosmos and many more tabletop giants.
If you are curious about the Health and Safety requirements at the event before committing to attending, be sure to take a look at the PAX Unplugged website for more detailed information.
Are you looking forward to attending physical events next year in 2022?

Jawohl, I vill show mein papers at ze entryvay, Herr Commandant!
No thanks… if I want paranoia and whinging, I’ll watch the news, and I can do that for free at my own home. If I’m going to a convention, I want it to be a convention and that’s all.
I am would like to go since it is only 2.5hrs away from where I live BUT, there is no way for them to actually validate the vaccination cards. If they accept a picture on your phone, that is way too easy to fake. If they want to look at physical cards, they are NOT going to carefully look at the 5K event-goers vaccination card, and know what they are looking at since there are zero standards. Even if there was a national database, the time to scan and get everyone through the door would take forever. No thanks, I… Read more »
