Paranoid Miniatures Shows Off Brilliant New Card Art For Mythos
November 30, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Our friends at Paranoid Miniatures have been working feverishly on their Lovecraftian world of Mythos, following their successful Kickstarter this past spring.
They've recently been making adjustments to their character cards, including the size of the cards, font, direction, stat lines, etc - but most recently, the card art itself has gotten a fabulous makeover, courtesy of the fantastically talented artist, Shane Cook.
So as a first look, we have the card art images for the Priory and the Hidden Ones. It's so hard to choose a favorite, but I have to say, I think Click Clack has taken the lead! He's so scarily cool! I cannot wait to see his miniature.
They've gone for a really dark and gritty look to the card art, which I think really captures the overall vibe of game brilliantly. But what I really like, is that they opted for a second, and more sinister image of the character on its flip side to indicate the sane/insane aspect of characters with their card flip.
You have to have a favourite from this selection of artwork from the game. We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
What do you think of the new art direction for the character cards for Mythos too?
