Para Bellum’s Conquest Gets New Heroes & Fenr Beastpacks
September 2, 2021 by brennon
Para Bellum Wargames has new pre-orders for those diving into the world of Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and First Blood. We start with a peek at some new characters for the Hundred Kingdoms and Spires.
Mounted Noble Lord // Conquest
Shop Conquest @ Store.OnTableTop
The first of the miniatures is a new Mounted Noble Lord. Charging into battle atop their impressive steeds, the Noble Lords are not just a threat in combat with their lances at the ready. They are also an inspiring presence and able to push their troops to greater feats of valour on the battlefield.
On the other side of things, and perhaps as a foil to the martial might of the Noble Lords, we have the Pheromancer for the Spires.
Pheromancer // Conquest
As you might have guessed by their title, the Pheromancers are able to command their own bodies and the chemicals within them. They secrete this on the battlefield to send their fellow Spires troops into furious rages that make them hard to kill. With a Pheromancer at their side, the Spires throw caution to the wind and find themselves often immune to fear.
As well as the two characters, we also have a pack of beasts for the Nords. Here we have the Fenr Beastpack Wargs that can be unleashed on your foes!
Fenr Beastpack Wargs // Conquest
Intelligent and cunning, the Fenr Beastpack Wargs are not your typical hounds. They are able to stalk their prey with ease and harass the flanks of an army with a tactical nuance that might not be expected of their kind.
I really like the design of these and I think this is pushing me further towards the idea of playing as the Nords. I think they have some of the coolest-looking troops and characters and now their monsters are taking things to the next level too.
Last but not least from their current slate of pre-orders we have a set of Conquest Objective Markers!
Objective Markers // Conquest
Previously only available as part of the core box, these Objective Markers have been themed to the different factions within the world of Conquest. As well as being good for marking specific objectives on the battlefields of Last Argument Of Kings, these would also be excellent for the skirmishes of First Blood.
I really like the lost treasures and the ancient bones of some mythical beast. I think those two are my favourite from the collection!
