Para Bellum Announce W’adrhŭn Summer With The Mighty Tontorr!
June 21, 2023 by brennon
Para Bellum Wargames have announced that this Summer is W’adrhŭn Summer and that means fancy new miniatures. Leading the way is a special Pre-Order Bundle for the mighty Tontorr which is going to be stomping into games of Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings.
W’adrhŭn - Tontorr // Conquest

This enormous Tontorr steps onto the battlefield as a beacon for the W’adrhŭn that stride alongside them. This Super Monster is going to be coming out later this year in September with a bunch of bonuses for those that want to get in early. You of course get the towering Drum Beast but you also get the Tontorr Chieftain Rider, a big Scenic Base based on the Hunting Pack and a selection of collectible stickers and such as well that will be fun for mega Conquest fans.
W’adrhŭn - Tontorr // Conquest
The Drum Beast itself is also a pretty impressive miniature and is a simply wild kit packed with plastic allowing you to make this wonderful dinosaur. If you've liked building the different creatures for the W’adrhŭn so far, this is going to be another amazing project to play around with.
Drum Beast // Conquest
It is going to be really fun seeing what people do with this miniature when they get it in their hands. I love the idea of one of these slowly marching to war alongside the already colourful and dynamic W’adrhŭn, the horns and drums sounding as lines get ready to clash.
Thunder Riders!
You might have also seen the Artisan Series miniature coming up for the Thunder Chieftain, another amazing W’adrhŭn miniature. Well, for those looking to add a full unit of those dinosaurs into the mix, you can also now pre-order the Thunder Riders.
Thunder Riders // Conquest
This set comes with three of these miniatures which are Heavy Shock Cavalry in the game. They are properly good at charging into the heart of combat and delivering a killing blow against the units they come up against. As well as making three standard Thunder Riders, you can also build these miniatures with Command variants instead, giving you leader options for your army.
These Thunder Riders will be out a little bit sooner than the Tontorr and should be getting to your tabletop sometime in August.
W’adrhŭn Summer sounds like it should be great fun and it essentially works as a little bit of a community crowdfunder to get the miniatures out to folks in the community. You can drop your pre-orders in now for the Tontorr but there are also going to be options for getting the beast in the traditional fashion so don't worry!
Will you be taking a peek at these offerings for Conquest and the W’adrhŭn?

Tontorr and the Drum beast are awesome centerpieces for an army. Dinos are definitely a way to pull the eye for consideration of massive models.
Oh wow he’s a happy little enormous dinosaur!
Dayum! Now THAT’S cool as hell!
I want to see the monster that wore those tusks when it was alive! It must be gigantonormous! The Tontorr is cool (I prefer the unbearded version though) and the Thunder riders are also cool but I have to admit I don’t like the hats they wear (if they are hats?).
Lol dino rider’s look fantastic.
