Para Bellum Give A Sneak Peek At Old Dominion For Conquest

Para Bellum Wargames has been taking a sneak peek at what's coming up for Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and First Blood next year. The Old Dominion are on the march as the sixth faction for this 35mm mass battle Fantasy wargame.

The preview video above went into a lot more than just the addition of The Old Dominion in Conquest. But, since they are going to be the new boys on the block, it is worth taking a closer look at those new miniatures popping up!

This gives a look at the twist on the "Roman" aesthetic that they've gone for with The Old Dominion. The Strategos and Hierodeacon give us a neat look at the characters in the mix, each building on that eerie deathly theme. I love the use of the deathmask/faceplate for example.

You've also got those three monstrous Bone Golems that look absolutely immense. You could imagine them shambling and stumbling towards you, bits falling off and crashing to the ground as they smash apart their enemies. They are incredibly Dark Souls!

We also got this sneaky look at another of the characters, the Archimandrite, alongside some very eerie looking creatures. How weird are those Kheres and Moroi?!
