Sword Faery // Ouroboros Miniatures
Here's the lore from the Sword Faery...
''Viridia had ventured far away from the safety of the Realms of Titania. Curious as always, she wanted to see what lay on the outskirts between Titania's lands and those of Elves and Men. It didn't take too long before she reached what seemed to be a long-forgotten battlefield, where men and elves had fought a bitter battle many years ago. They had all but destroyed each other and what had remained were countless bones and remnants of broken weapons and rusty armour. Viridia, tired from her long flight, found a place to rest a little bit. Surveying the area, she wondered what had caused these races to put such hatred and violence upon each other. It seemed so meaningless to her. And with that, she took off again, back to the safety and comfort of her own lands...''
When it comes to the miniature, it stands at 154mm and the casting comes from Madness Casting Studio. She breaks down into ten separate pieces of high-quality resin. The studio paint job that you see above comes from the talented hand of Matteo Carnevale and offers up an indicator as to how you might want to paint her up!

The miniature is going to be shipped out in waves. Wave one has already been snapped up but wave two (and beyond) are available over on their webstore. I think the miniature looks great and is embracing some Arthurian vibes.

Could you be tempted to dive in and pick up this miniature? Whilst I like the whimsical Fantasy vibe that you get from the miniature in the studio version, it would be interesting to see how grim you could get with this. Maybe you could turn her into something bloody and nasty, feeding off the violence on the battlefield.
Are you going to be snapping this up?

the mini looks nice but I feel the paintjob is a bit odd… maybe because the sword is so much “not rusted” everything else is old and overgrown but the sword somehow still “new”… doesn’t feel right.
All it takes for D&D is a +1 enchantment and the magic keeps it from decay somehow. Never bother the barbarian with the intricacies and complexity of how the magic axe allows him to cleave his foe’s skull in twain. The sharp axe that stays on fire and doesn’t melt just cuts ice demons better than the paladin’s sword for some reason.
That looks really good.
A beautiful concept and even better painting execution.
Nice one.
Part of me really wanted this to be 1:1 scale.
