Otherworld’s Penanggalan Shows They’ve Go Guts

Following up on the appearance of the Ghasts, Paul Muller has sculpted another undead nightmare for Otherworld Miniatures. Flee in terror from the Penanggalan!
As I said before, the Penanggalan is one of my favourite monsters. Stemming from Southeast Asian folklore, the Penanggalan looks like anyone else by day. By night though, its head lifts off of its shoulders, dragging with it its internal organs, and flies off in search of prey.
We have seen a couple of miniatures based around this monster in the past. While I would not say this is my favourite of them, it still conveys the disturbing and unmistakable appearance of this vampiric monster. Along with the Ghasts, Otherworld are bringing in more than enough undead to make an adventurer think twice.
How would you work this monster into the story of your adventures?

Looks familiar. Without a look I’m guessing it is similar to the pic in one of the monster manuals or Fiend Folio.
These things creepy me out so hard. Love it!
