Otherworld Work on a Trio of Ghastly Ghasts
May 5, 2015 by dracs
Otherworld have some new horrifying creatures of the undead in the works and have shown off the WiPs of a trio of Ghasts.
In Dungeons and Dragons, Ghasts are a stronger and more cunning form of ghoul. These undead, cannibalistic horrors are being sculpted by Paul Muller and he has managed to capture the disturbing nature of these creatures.
Otherworld have said that Paul is also currently working on a Penanggalan, one of my favourite monsters of world folklore. It's a disgusting thing, a head flying around with its internal organs hanging below it. It will be interesting to see what Otherworld's take on this will be.
How do you think these Ghasts are coming along?

Otherworld make some of the best alive looking dead things going 🙂
Those look really nasty in good way.
Ghastly!!!
(yes, it gets this bad)
Love these. I recently put together the Mantic ghouls/ghasts, but I think I will be getting some of these specifically as ghasts. Much better than the Mantic ones!
