Osprey Games Take A Peek At New Frostgrave 2nd Edition Cover
February 21, 2020 by brennon
Osprey Games has taken a peek this week at the new cover for Frostgrave 2nd Edition which is coming in the not too distant future. Featuring art by new Frostgrave companion, ªRU-MOR, it looks like another action-packed scene to start things off.
ªRU-MOR takes over from Dmitry and Kate Burmak who worked on the original set of books, expansions and more for Frostgrave and whilst the style is a little different here it continues to be very impressive. I think it would be neat to get a better peek at some of the interior art as well! The same artist has also worked on existing Osprey Games properties like Dracula’s America and Ragnarok so there is quite the pedigree here.
As McCullough states in the little blog post which previewed the new cover, the artwork here is a little darker in tone which sounds like it will be really fun to explore!
Will you be checking this out yourself when it launches?

Put me down for one. I didn’t pick up Frostgrve Archipelago, but I know he tidied up some rules, tweaked some others. Hoping these will make it into the chilly setting. Excellent news!
….and the Dice Gods must have been watching you type and awarded you with a “this weekend only” Frostgrave Archipelago sale at 50% off. You must have angered them somehow for them to want to empty your wallet so badly….

I did see the newsletter before. I never went for the rules, I did get a good few tribals in the Nickstarter. I do want to do a generic Saga/Erehwon/Dragon Rampant army with them. One day …
..although the new book cover does look like it’s two wizards fighting over who didn’t put the loo roll back on it’s holder (bet it was the bloke, we do things like that) 😀
nice.
